Seriously. I WANT A MOVIE OF THIS!!!! I would totaly buy it if I had the opportunity and cash! Well written, thought through (as far as I can tell anyway), wonderfully executed and very capturing! I'm sucked right into it by the first frames. Just saw the first part and can't wait to see further into the story!
WOW - beautifully drawn, i can't get enough of your lines and legs/feet...that is to say, the way you draw them *facepalm*. Yeah - gorgeous. good luck with completing it, the end result will be amazing.
God damn. I thought the previous one was it, but I found out there's more and it made me happy |D That end joke was just excellent. I love your characters so much, and the way you write them is perfect. AND YOUR DAMN ART UGH SO PRETTY I HATE YOU. Good freakin' luck.
I'm not so sure I dig the translucent bubbles. Jury's still out on that one.
Fading-in text is cool, but you shouldn't have to page tab five times for each fade-in, otherwise it gets annoying fast. I almost feel like this could have been an animatic or a self-playing slideshow.
I feel like some bits of dialog could have been entirely cut out, or played up a bit more. Him realizing that he doesn't want to kill his goddess seemed a bit underwhelming.
Other then that, your work is ridiculously pretty. Good luck, but I'm pretty sure you're a shoo-in for Eden at this point.
Thanks so much for the input! The translucent bubbles are sometimes a pain to do, but I try to make them as opaque as I can by blurring the stuff behind. I'll probably continue them for consistency's sake, but I'll try to make them even more legible.
For the text, I really would have made it animated (I still might), but I'm still figuring that out. Flash isn't my home base, so to speak.
Storyboarding that line in particular was hard, and I agree with you there. If I'd put my mind to it, I could probably have come up with something better.
This. Is. Fantastic. I almost think it was completely unnecessary for you to even do this, because with just the first part of your prologue you had everybody swooning over Zalost... I was pleasantly surprised to find that you had done more. Even so...
AKSDJALDJSAFHJK THIS IS FANTASTIC
...I don't know how you do it.
I like to see the unfinished-ness, though. It kind of gives me a hint on how to do things.
The completionist within you is probably going to win Eden. Have fun, because my confidence is shattered by the stack of 52 new Eden deviations that I assume are amazing and take away all of my chances of making it into the first round. X'DDD
Daw, thanks. XD I'll just have to remember that these OCTs are actually a big deal and half-hearted, rushed entries don't quite cut it. >.> You seem like one who has entered a lot of them... Is this was usually happens? X'D
Ooooh... Well! That's pretty darn inspiring, actually. 8D You should impart upon me some of your comic-making knowledge so I can practice and eventually know what I'm doing. Hyurr. Actually, I am watching you, so I could just hunt down some of your old stuff and see the progress you've made.
