Description
I have a thing for pitting monstrous creatures against exponentially smaller opponents.
This was a spur-of-the-moment gift--or rather fanart--for the story and characters of Miss Gloria Bowden, an Elfwood friend. The charming beastie is a nightmare monster, creatures that epitomize any one of the seven deadly sins. I'm not sure which one this guy is--wasn't really thinking of it as I drew. ^ ^'
The comparatively small, valiant blue woman is Leohna, one of the protagonists of Gloria's story, Eyes of Stone. Judging by what I know about her thus far, this is probably a common scenario, as she's rather stubborn and never backs out of a fight--no matter how disadvantaged she may be.
I'll have everyone know that I did use a reference to draw the pillars--I didn't just whip them out of my mind (though goodness knows I wish I could XP). I also used some stone wall texturing for the bricks in the wall. Everything else I did myself--honest!
Regarding the picture itself, I'm not too pleased with the pose. It feels like my own personal cliché.... Anyhow, I had so much fun with the monster, and I hope this spawns many moments of inspiration for Gloria in the days to come.

This image is still as impressive as the day you first shared it with me. Thank you again!
