Theo glanced at his golden companion as they made their way forward with the crowd. Tris had invited him. Perhaps only to assist her if the need arose, but… If she had thought it well enough to bring him here then perhaps she did not think him as out of place as he thought himself. Maybe it was okay to share in a little of that confidence, just for a while?  To let his curiosities and intrigues for the vibrant display around him be expressed a little more freely. To enjoy the spectacle and celebration for the learning experience it could provide and… for the fun of it, really.

That’s what it should be, he told himself. A day to just relax a little and have fun.

The thought brought a small, almost subconscious smile to his lips as they reached the entrance. He was glad Tris had invited him, and he had the distinct feeling that today was going to be a rather good day.
