Vs the Knights of Crystallia

Spoiler Alert for Alcatraz book 3!
But if you're unfamiliar with the series then read it anyway, because if I can tantalize you with this snippet then I've accomplished my mission as a fan.

The corrupted knight raised his sword, then he froze as a small, quiet figure stepped between him and the king.

Bastille.

She hadn't been affected by the fall of the Mindstone, because the knights themselves cut her off it. Bastille raised her mother's sword. I don't know where she'd gotten it. I don't even know how she'd gotten into the room. She had found a pair of Warrior's Lenses, but I could see from her profile that she was still exhausted. She looked tiny before the figure of the enormous knight, with his silvery armor and heroic smile.

The Alcatraz series by Brandon Sanderson is probably one of the best group of YA novels I've read (and re-read), despite discovering them at an age probably a little above the target audience. I've probably said this about them before, but they consistently surprise me with their tendency to be (1) extremely hilarious, (2) extremely rediculous, (3) surprisingly didactic, and (4) always including moments of downright visual epic. There are so many scenes I wish I had time to fully illustrate, but I'll have to stick to this one for now. Because giant crystal swords. And Bastille. The end.
